We know you’ve missed the friendly faces at the Barrie Farmers’ Market and the vendors have missed you too! That’s why we’re incredibly happy to announce that as of Saturday, June 13 you’ll be able to shop in person again!
Vendor stalls will be set up in the City Hall parking lot with COVID safety measures in place. Just like at grocery stores, please send only one person from your family to shop and stay at home if you’re not feeling well. Foot traffic will circulate in one direction and you’ll need to leave 6′ of space while in line at vendor stalls. There won’t be any entertainment, seating, or hot food ready to eat on site, but free parking is available on the streets around the market.
If you’d still like to pre-order to make sure your favourite foods are waiting for you then continue using the market’s online shop at https://www.localline.ca/barrie-farmers-market and place your order before Friday at 8 a.m. You’ll have the option to enter the market to pick up your order(s) directly from the vendor(s) or if you’d prefer contactless pick up then you can wait out side of the market’s Mulcaster Street entrance for someone to retrieve your order for you.
We’ll see you soon!
